Frost Giant revealed their upcoming RTS, Stormgate, in early June 2022. Fans of the genre were nothing short of ecstatic and we all can’t wait to get our hands on the game – but when exactly is the Stormgate release date?
When is Stormgate Coming Out?
Unfortunately, the Stormgate release date is still some way away. Despite the June reveal, the game still has some way to go before development is finalized and it is playable.
So far, we know that testing will start in July 2023 with a pre-alpha period, which will slowly add new content and open up to more players over time. Stormgate’s official release will follow the testing period, meaning we won’t see the game released until at least 2024.
There aren’t many specific details beyond the planned alpha and beta testing (other than that it will extend into 2024). This means that all we can really do is wait and see – and we’ll be updating this page with news as and when it comes!
How To Sign Up For Stormgate Beta
If you want to get your hands on Stormgate before the release date, you’ll have to sign up for the beta and hope to get invited. With the alpha coming in 2023, there’s still some time before there will be concrete news of invites, however, it’s not too early to sign up.
For those looking to sign up, all you have to do is head to the official Stormgate site, enter your email, and click sign up for beta. It’s that simple! If you get invited, you’ll receive an email – this will probably be closer to the July 2023 alpha date.
You should also make sure to wishlist the game on Steam. This won’t increase your chances of getting beta access, but it helps the game out and takes just a short moment.
