A new email from the Frost Giant team has dropped a ton of Stormgate information, including the date of the next alpha phase, how to increase your odds of getting in, and much more.
Second Stormgate Alpha Phase To Begin on August 7
Let’s start off with the good stuff – the next phase of the Stormgate alpha is set to begin on August 7. This phase will be much bigger than the initial testing phase in July, with thousands of invites set to be sent out.
Many of the invites for this phase will be randomly selected from the beta signups list. So, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up on the official website if you want a shot at getting in.
You can also increase your odds of getting in by filling out the Stormgate survey. It is linked near the top of the latest Frost Giant email and asks a few simple questions about your gaming background and PC specs. There are no right or wrong answers, as Frost Giant will be looking to bring in a wide range of players.

Frost Giant Will Show Off Infernal Hosts at Gamescom
Another juicy bit of detail from the email was that Frost Giant will reveal some new Infernal Hosts content. There’s not much detail as to what exactly will be revealed, with the email only stating that the faction has been a “major focus” in recent weeks.
We may see anything from new art to gameplay of the faction, we’ll just have to wait and see. Luckily, the wait won’t be too long, as Gamescom takes place from 23-27 August.
