The Stormgate meta has been rapidly developing in early access and now with creeps being so important, getting out on the map early is vital. This build does just that, allowing you to creep early while still building a solid economy with a well-timed expansion.
Infernal Vault Conclave Expand Build
This build is a good all-rounder and works well in all matchups. The goal is to get units out quickly and kill some creeps for the high rewards. You can then use these rewards to throw down a fast(ish) expansion, while continuing to make units and workers to stay safe from aggression. Here’s the build order:
- Constant Imp production
- 0:00 Iron Vault
- 0:20 Conclave
- 0:35 Send 1 Imp to Therium
- 1:00 Meat Farm
- 1:00 Brute
- 1:25 Gaunt
- Start creeping, continue making Brutes & Gaunts
- 2:00 Send 1 Imp to Therium (2 total)
- 2:30 Shrine
- Start rallying main Imps to Therium once Luminite is 12/12
- 2:50 Meat Farm
- 3:30 Ritual Chamber
- 4:30 Research Plague Axes
- 4:30 Shrine
- 4:30 Start adding extra Iron Vaults and Conclaves
- 5:00 Upgrade to Greater Shrine

Hexen upgrades for Miasma
Spriggan (not recommended)
And that sums up the build order! You should be able to safely get onto three bases with this build, being able to utilize the massive creep camp rewards to expand, tech, and build an army. Make sure to keep an eye on your opponent and adjust accordingly! You have a few options to transition to, which mostly depend on preference – both Magmadons and Hexen are powerful against every faction, so you can experiment to see what you like best, and eventually add a bit of everything!
