The community website Stormgate World has revealed their new project – a live Stormgate leaderboard, showcasing the current rankings in the beta. Let’s take a look at it in more detail.
Stormgate Rankings Live on Stormgate World
A Stormgate beta leaderboard is now live on Stormgate World, showcasing the ranking system in action. We can see player names, ranks, points, and win rate, as well as their match history (by clicking on their name). There’s a treasure trove of information and it updates every five minutes.
The leaderboard also shows that the beta has been live for a few days now, with some players racking up almost 100 games – that’s a lot of Stormgate!
It also looks like the Infernal Host are the go-to faction at the top level, making up 9 of the top 10 players. Although, Pedro “LucifroN” Moreno Durán is making the Human Vanguard proud with his insane 90% win rate as the only Vanguard in the top 10.
Stormgate API Available For Public Use
Alongside the leaderboard, Stormgate World have also shared the Stormgate API, or at least what they have access to – you can find it here. It’s available for public use, so if there’s anyone out there wanting to start a Stormgate project, here’s your first chance!
With that said, it currently exposes just player nicknames, Steam IDs, and match results, so it’s a bit limited. Additionally, it’s still in early beta, so it can change abruptly.
Regardless, it’s great to see Stormgate getting awesome new tools and features! As Next Fest approaches, we all now have a way to track our ladder journey and see how we match up against the best of the best.
