A brand new Stormgate hero, Kastiel has been revealed! The hero will be coming with the next patch, bolstering the Celestial Armada’s forces – let’s take a look at what we know so far.
Stormgate Kastiel Revealed
Revealed in a YouTube video on Sep 14, Kastiel is a brand new Celestial hero! He looks to be a hero based on the Archangel unit, but instead wields a sword and shield. The brief reveal didn’t give too many hard details about Kastiel, but we did get a look at his abilities. These are:
- Darkfire – Looks to be a simple charge, which potentially empowers Kastiel’s next auto attack.
- Soulblade – Seems to empower Kastiel’s sword, causing it to deal more damage and giving it an AoE effect.
- Cull the Unworthy – Kills a targeted unit.
- Firefall – Kasitel crash-lands on a target area, dealing massive AoE damage.
- Arkhos Arcship – Kastiel’s unique faction modifier, seems to give units nearby the Arcship a shield or invisibility. It can also harvest (something) from trees.
- Spectral Warrior (topbar ability) – Seems to summon a spectral clone of Kastiel.
Last but not least, Kastiel is also a walking Cascade Field, allowing you to build near him! All in all, he looks like a very exciting hero – a classic warrior type with a sword and shield, alongside some cool looking abilities.
